Join us on Wednesday, December 15 for the IRMAC Professionals’ Panel! Four professionals from the world of information and data management will join us to answer questions about what they do and how they do it. We’ve taken a cross section from industry newbies to industry veterans and from academics to private consultants. During this panel, we will get a range of opinions from these industry professionals on new developments, key skills, and the changing landscape of data and information.

Meet the professionals joining us!

Robert Snoyer | Managing Partner, Copperstone Connect
Robert has spent over half of his thirty years in IT focused on Business Intelligence and Analytics Consulting. His extensive experience spans start-ups to multi-nationals, industry to consulting/recruiting, and delivery to business development. As a Principal with Copperstone Connect, a staffing agency focused on Data and Analytics he’ll be bringing his expertise on the hiring landscape and his knowledge of the top skills that employers are looking for in that space.

 

Martin Sykora | Senior Architect, Telus
Martin’s focus in the information management space is on building products with data, technology, and design. Martin spent the last decade leading teams in data analytics. He’ll bring us his first-hand experience of how his work – and information management itself – has evolved to use new technologies and skills.

 

Dr. Francine Adams | Adjunct Professor, Southern New Hampshire University
Francine has led a remarkable career in educating information professionals, and for the last eight years has been teaching has focused on the fundamentals of data analytics and the framework of data management used to apply it. She brings this panel insight into the educational trends in data management, and what up-and-coming data professionals should work on most.

 

Mel Gregorio | Director of Enterprise Information Governance, OLG
While Mel has over 20 years of experience in executing enterprise-wide process optimization in IT and manufacturing, he is a relative newcomer to the field of information and data management. Mel will be sharing his experience entering the industry and how to tackle the learning curve.
